AFRO & CURLY HAIR
Are you a curly or Afro-textured hair person who has felt undervalued by most of the hair salons you have visited?
For as long as I can remember there has been a lack of education with regards to teaching hairdressers how to work with more textured hair. As a result, many of us have felt there is no room for us to have a service in a European salon.
That’s why I’ve made it part of my mission to educate myself and to create a safe space for people to come and have their hair done in the comfort of my studio.
As well as being a fellow Afro haired person, I know exactly what it’s like to feel unrepresented and forgotten about.

TRAINING / RECOGNITION
I trained at Kevin Fortunes Academy in East London on the Afro haired course in 2020. This well recognised course which covered the science of Afro hair and multiple styling techniques that help to protect this delicate hair type over 3 days.
I was also named “The bridal hair dresser making waves” by Black Beauty & Hair Magazine and was also a Finalist in “The Afro One” competition by Tribute Hair Magazine.
